For those who do not believe in Magic, but would like to explore, just a l little, this is a wonderful place to begin..the author introduces nature's magic in a different way, slowly, so that you slip into it safely, and begin to feel it's wonder...A step at the time. And before long, you are immersed completely, and do not want to put the book down..I throughly enjoyed it..also, the coloring book has some beautiful pages for those who enjoy..Product details

I too was privileged to a free copy of the manuscript before publication. Although her first novel, the author is an experienced writer. Her writing style is easy to read and evokes that sense of peace we often get from nature. The characters show an easy acceptance and trust that makes the reader feel welcomed. Throughout the story there is a sense of anticipation. As a reader of mystery novels, I sometimes missed the suspense that comes from that not knowing what is to come, but that was not a hindrance as the story developed.Jan’s goal of writing a novel to elicit positive feelings during times of change is fully achieved in this book.
I was privileged to a free copy of the manuscript before publication. As this was the author's first book I wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. Jan's writing was easy to read, had just the right amount of suspense to keep me wanting to continue reading, and was filled with magical elements that truly had me looking at nature a bit differently. It was all so believable. If you want an enjoyable book, with a lesson for the world, I think you will have a wonderful time in this book.
I enjoyed the book, I didn't know trees talked. It was very sincere
The author writes about the magic in all the flora and fauna around us; and how a relationship with the trees can be a fantastical excursion.
I loved this book, everything about it made me feel good.

Lovers of nature and the mystical will enjoy this book. I hope there are more to come! Seems like the adventure is just beginning.
I received an advanced review copy of this book. I loved this story! The author is a wonderful story teller. I loved the characters and the setting and the magical aspects. The writing was engaging and makes you want to read more. I like hearing from the different perspectives of all the characters but would have preferred one perspective per chapter. It gets a little confusing sometimes with many points of views being given. Overall I loved this book and the writing and I cant wait to continue the story,
I had the honor of being given a copy of the book also and thoroughly enjoyed reading the book. I didn't know the category but was amazed how much I enjoyed getting to know the characters, the setting and the events. Was it a mystery? ... a fantasy?... a nature book? All of them! For me, this was a 'feel good" read. In a few months I will read it again, something that I very rarely do. (PS Reviewer is spouse of William S. Tittle, with his permission!)
